He is the COO of Al Sraiya Holding Group and the Managing Director/CEO of Widam Food. Moreover, he is a Board Member at several Qatari organizations including Qatari Bahraini Co., Doha Gulf Co. Sudan, Qatari Sudan Chamber, Islamic Business Entrepreneurs and Chamber of Commerce and Industry – Agriculture Environment Committee.

He was part of the Best CEO in the region award published by Forbes in Dubai 2012 and Pioneer in Food Security in Arab Countries in Abu Dhabi 2012.He holds a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from Qatar University.
Mr. Farid Chedid

He is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute, holds a Master's degree in Management, a Master's degree in Finance, a Bachelor's degree in Economics, and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Maritime Law.

He is the Chairman, Founder and CEO of Chedid Capital SAL (Holding)a group of companies

He is a member of the Advisory Board of EuroMena II Private Equity Fund.

His business achievements moved on with the formation of SEIB Insurance and Reinsurance Company LLC authorized by the Qatar Financial Centre and Chedid Corporate Solutions LLP, UK, a consultancy firm.
Mr. Roudi E. Baroudi
Non-executive Member of the Board

He joined an energy firm in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, U.S.A., in 1978.

His International experience includes project and program development, with the World Bank, IMF, European Commission, state-to-state protocols, USAID, Arab Fund for Social and Economical development, EximBank and, multilateral agency financing in the United Status, Middle East, Central Asia, Japan and Europe, many of which have involved negotiations between private and publicly owned concerns and foreign government or state enterprises.

He has done extensive work in energy, economic prosperity and security, development programs which tackled advance energy and economic growth related to Private Sector (IPP) power development, electricity market unbundling gas market reform, political reform and deregulation and extensive work on international oil and gas ventures, petroleum development exploration including government legislation.

He has contributed to regional and international journals, televisions, and magazines with different articles on energy and security matters, political, economic and climate change.

He is the author and co-author of books and reports on several research activities in the energy field. He is also a regular lecturer on global energy and transportation affairs.
H.E. Mr. Ziyad Baroud
Non-executive Member of the Board

Ziyad Baroud is the former Minister of Interior and Municipalities (MoIM) of the Republic of Lebanon; he served in two consecutive Cabinets (from July 2008 until June 2011). The MoIM was awarded under his leadership the 2010 United Nations Public Service Award First Prize. In 2010, Ziyad Baroud received the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES) 2010 Manatt Democracy Award as a tribute to his commitment to freedom and democracy.

In July 2011, he was awarded “Commandeur de Numéro de l’Ordre Civil du Mérite” by the Kind of Spain Juan Carlos I. In October 2010, he was awarded “Officier de la Légion d'Honneur” by the French President Nicolas Sarkozy, for his achievements. In 2009, he was awarded “Grand Officier de L’Ordre National du Mérite de la République Française”. In 2007, he was named Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum.

Prior to his appointment as Minister, Ziyad Baroud held a number of positions among which: Member of the Lebanese National Commission on Electoral Law (2005-2006). In 2004, Ziyad Baroud was elected Secretary General of the Lebanese Association for Democratic Elections to lead a group of more than 1300 domestic electoral observer. He has served as a board member of the Lebanese chapter of Transparency International since 2006. He is also on the board of the Lebanese Center for Policy Studies and on the board of trustees of Notre Dame University (NDU).

A court lawyer by practice and managing partner at HBD-T Law Firm, Ziyad Baroud held a number of academic posts as lecturer in two prestigious universities in Lebanon (Université Saint Joseph USJ and USEK) and has a number of publications on subjects related to local governance, decentralization, human rights, and other political and legal issues. He also worked as a consultant to various UN Agencies in Lebanon. He is actually Senior Advisor with Booz and co.

A graduate of College Saint Joseph Antoura, Ziyad Baroud acquired his Masters degree in Law from Saint-Joseph University of Beirut in 1992 and pursued doctoral studies in Paris.

 

Mr. Roman Mathieu
Non-executive Member of the Board

He holds two graduate degrees in Finance (DESS and Magistère) and a Master's degree in Management from the Sorbonne University.

He is the Managing Director of The EuroMena Funds since 2004. He has more than 15 years experience in corporate transactions and advising family owned businesses, covering Europe and the MENA region.

He headed Ernst &Young's MENA desk in France and was a Partner of Ernst & Young Corporate Finance (EYCF) and M&A in France.

He worked with Lazard frères, in the M&A and financial affairs team.

From 1996 to 1998, he headed the credit department of Banque Saradar in Lebanon and was a member of the bank's credit committee.
